What We Do:

• Educate the public on the study of weather.
• Communicate through this web site by sharing stories of weather happenings from around the country, and sometimes the world. As well as sharing observations through the AWON (American Weather Observation Netowrk).
• Cooperate with local, regional and other national weather organizations who are dedicated to furthering the knowledge of weather to others and making the world more "weather smart".
